1.1 Account information (collected by default)
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. This information is required to create and maintain your account and is stored on our servers (via Google Firebase/Firestore).
1.2 Profile & fitness information (only if you choose to sync)
If you choose to sync your profile to our servers, we additionally collect information you provide during onboarding and profile setup, which may include height, weight, fitness goals and experience level, workout logs, run/walk activity, custom gym plans, and content generated using the AI workout generator based on your inputs.
If you do not choose to sync your profile, this information stays on your device only and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
1.3 Feature requests & community content
If you submit a feature request or upvote a request, we store your user ID in association with that submission so we can attribute it to your account and prevent duplicate votes. Feature request titles and descriptions you submit may be publicly visible to other users within the App.
1.4 Local backups
The App allows you to back up your data. Backups are encrypted on your device using your account information and a password you set. We do not store, receive, or have access to your backup password. This means we cannot decrypt or read the contents of your backup, and we cannot recover your backup or reset your backup password if you lose it. If you forget your backup password, your backed-up data may be permanently inaccessible, including to us.
1.5 Future features (social & community)
We plan to introduce social and community features, such as community challenges, in future releases. These features may involve collecting and processing additional information, including profile images or other images you choose to upload, and activity you share with other users. When these features launch, we will update this Privacy Policy in advance and, where required by applicable law, seek your consent before collecting this additional information.
1.6 Information we do not collect
We do not collect precise real-time location/GPS tracking data at this time. If this changes in a future release (for example, for run/walk route mapping), we will update this policy accordingly before that feature is enabled.
We use the information described above to create and manage your account, sync your fitness data across devices if you opt in, power the AI workout generator based on your provided information, operate the feature request and upvoting system, maintain, secure, and improve the App, and communicate with you about your account or important updates.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Mythra Fitness uses Google Firebase (including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) to store account and synced data. Firebase processes data on our behalf and maintains its own security and privacy practices. We do not control how Google secures its infrastructure but select Firebase as a service provider that meets industry-standard security practices.
We do not currently share your personal information with any other third parties, except where required by law, legal process, or governmental request; to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Developer, our users, or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including relying on Firebase's built-in security infrastructure and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Backup data is encrypted client-side before it leaves your device, using a password only you know. This provides an additional layer of protection, but also means the responsibility for remembering your backup password rests entirely with you.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, request deletion of your account and associated data, request a copy of your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent for optional data syncing at any time by disabling sync in-app.

Note: deleting your account will delete your synced data from our servers, but cannot restore or delete data contained in local, encrypted backups stored on your own device or personal storage, since we have no access to that data.
